GovernanceOS MCP Server

GovernanceOS as callable tools for your AI assistant. Every answer carries the page or DOI it came from.

It answers from what governanceos.si publishes: 114 dated, sourced regulation rows across 8 regions, 50 public pages and guides, and the Defensible AI Framework Registry. Where a regulator has issued nothing, it says so. It is read-only: it cannot book, send, sign or charge anything.

        "governanceos": {
          "type": "http",
          "url": "https://mcp.governanceos.si/api/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
  2. In Claude Code, in one line:
    claude mcp add --transport http governanceos https://mcp.governanceos.si/api/mcp
  3. Restart the client and confirm 6 tools appear: get_profile, search_knowledge, lookup_regulation, identify_relevant_service, get_framework, normalize_arabic_text.
  4. Ask something a general model gets wrong. lookup_regulation for Saudi Arabia returns the rows GovernanceOS publishes, including an AI directive for banks from SAMA marked none issued, with the date it was checked.
